A total of 300 counselors from upper secondary schools and vocational training centers in Galicia will attend the information day at the University of A Coruña, which will take place on Thursday, February 16, at the UDC’s Information and Communications Technology Research Center (CITIC).
The meeting is organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Students, Participation, and Employability of the University of A Coruña in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) and with staff from the baccalaureate and higher vocational training departments of Galicia.
This meeting will provide information on updates to the ABAU and pre-enrollment procedures; present the UDC’s catalog of undergraduate degree programs—including established degrees, unique degrees, and those planned for implementation in the 2023/24 academic year; showcase the UDC’s outreach and dissemination campaigns aimed at its students; and feature a panel discussion on the gender gap in ICT studies, with participation from Virginia Mato Abad, director of the ALBADA-WIB (Women, ICT & Business) Chair; Verónica Bolón Canedo, UDC coordinator of the Inspira STEAM Program; and Susana Ladra González, director of the Campus Innova-UDC.
